Már régóta kinéztük és most sikerült is megkaparintani. Igaz, hogy sajnos nem örökbe, de legalább egy hosszúhétvégés tesztelésre. Ő a Samsung K5-ös MP3 lejátszója. Az elegánsan fekete, letisztult, gombok nélküli OLED kijelzős, érintőképernyős lejátszó legfontosabb megkülönböztető jegye az alapállapotban teljesen rejtett, de egy kézzel könnyen kicsúsztatható hangszórója, mely szakítva a fülhallgatós hagyományokkal kifelé is megszólaltatja a zenét. Természetesen magunkba fordulás és a füldugós lehetőség továbbra is adott. A készüléket alapállapotban egy mobilhoz hasonlóan függőlegesen kényelmes a kézben tartani, ha azonban a hangszórót kicsúsztatjuk, a kijelző és menürendszer is vízszintes elrendezésbe vált, 90 fokkal elfordul a használhatóság érdekében. A pár milliméter vastag hangszóró méretéhez képest remekül szól, hangjával kényelmesen betölt egy kisebb szobát.
Az 1-2-4 gigás háttértárral érkező készülék MP3 lejátszás mellett, FM rádióval, képnézegető funkcióval és ébresztővel is rendelkezik. Az élénk színű fotók különösen jól mutattak a teljesen fekete, csillogó felületű kontrasztos kijelzőn. Külön említést érdemel még az ébresztő funkció, ahol végre megoldották, hogy hétvégén vagy bizonyos napokon a szokásostól eltérő időpontban kelhessünk. Az ébresztés kedvenc számunka történik.

A Samsung K5 lejátszójával már biztos mindenki találkozott, ha máshonnét nem is, de a zenetévéken pörgő klippekből lehet ismerős. Az erős marketingnek köszönhetően három videóban is felbukkan. A Pussy Cat Dolls "Wait a Minute" klippjének első 20 másodpercében 7 alkalommal kapunk közeli képet, Olivia Ruiz "La Femme Chocolat" videója elején is egy K5-öst kipakolva az asztalra indtja a zenét. És a Black Eyed Peas énekesnőjének klippje (Fergalicious) végén is előkerül párszor.
